A transformer manufacturer in Colombia required an AC voltage regulator to power a high-voltage transformer for laboratory testing. By adjusting the regulator’s output voltage, the transformer’s secondary voltage could vary accordingly, meeting the lab’s need for multiple test voltage levels. The challenge was that the control room was located approximately ten meters from the testing site, requiring a reliable and responsive remote-control function.
