Case Study
A rubber processing plant experienced severe current waveform distortion and high-frequency carrier harmonics due to the frequent start–stop operation of key equipment such as internal mixers, vulcanizers, and variable-frequency drive systems. These conditions led to parallel resonance, which caused capacitor failures and posed a significant threat to production safety. The concentrated harmonic sources and large-capacity nonlinear loads in the plant created a high-intensity harmonic environment that disrupted normal operations.
To resolve this, Wenlida proposed a high-voltage harmonic filtering solution designed to suppress harmonic currents and stabilize the power system. The implementation effectively mitigated resonance risks, protected equipment, and ensured reliable and continuous production.
